Nathalie's Letters

Nathalie Beelprez (40) is a left-handed calligrapher living at the beautiful and historical town of Bruges. Opened her store and studio a few years ago, where she creates and sells personal and handwritten work.

Nathalie's Letters is closed because of fire- and waterdamage in the building. It is not yet possible to give more detailed information. In the meantime, and with the end of the year in sight, part of my collection is shown in my future studio -still being under construction- in Bruges at Katelijnestraat 139. This is open to the public until January 15th. You can see some work in the windows and you can purchase handwritten work inside or order a personal work. . Most of the time, also in the evenings, I'm available but it is better to call before your visit.

“I’m always searching to find special decoration who sometimes invite me to write a words or sentences that enrich the piece. Sometimes they are antique or old, sometimes new pieces with an old character, usually I immediately come up with a line that gives the piece that something more, that personal touch. I always think of something else, that way each piece stays unique. That way my store has always a different choice of handmade works and decoration, and the visitor always see new things. Every piece has his story and is part of the whole atmosphere that you will breathe in.
